THE DEVON WRECK.
TWELVE MEN ASHORE. WEATHER MODERATTXG. (By Telegraph.—Special to " Star.") WELLINGTON, this day. Twelve men were ashore from the Devon at one o'clock, and nil arc expected to land by nightfall. Thn vessel appears to be pierced by the rocks near the stern. The weather is moderating. REPORT TO LLOYDS. RIPPED FROM STEM TO STERN. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELUINGTON, this day. 'Lloyd's agent has had communication with one of the officers of tho Devon, whose report is that lie believed tho ibottom of tho voseol has been ripped from the engine-room to the etern. The asonts have sent supplies for tho use of tho men. who will be accommodated at the lighthouse buildings for the night. Tho process of landing the crew is very slow, ami will take the rest of the day.
