AFTER SECRET MARRIAGE.

FATHER SHOOTS HIS SON. SYDNEY. August 25. An inquest was held to-day on Isaac Goldstein, a Polish ,)ew, (jo years of age, and his son, David, who were found on August 10 by Mrs Goldstein, the one dead and the other dying, in their house. The verdict returned was that the father murdered his son and then committed suicide. The evidence showed that the father had opposed his son marrying a certain girl, and had threatened to blow out the lad's brains if he did so. Hie father was informed, anonymously, shortly bejfore the tragedy, that his son had married the girl. The son's wife deposed that he was married in May last, but instead of setting up housekeeping they kept the matter secret.
