COMMISSION OF INQUIRY. 'By Telegraph.-— Parliamentary Reporter.) "WELLINGTON, this day. Following on certain allegations made in the House of Representatives some time a«o, one result of which was an inquiry 0 into one -particular appointment on the "Westport Harbour Board, it has been decided that a -Royal Commission be set tip to make investigations in connection with that body. Three gentlemen have been invited to sit on the Commission, which is to consist of three only. No OTder of reference has yet been arranged, said Mr. Fisher to a reporter to : day. So far those approached for the office-of' commissioners have not jet replied. The report of the special committee noted.above.is expected to"be' tabled about the middle of the week.
