(Received 12.10 pjn.) LONDON, August 17. The margin between Kent and Yorkshire for the championship is now seven points. The improved position of Yorkshire was attributable chiefly to bad weather interfering with the Kent matches. Kent lias still four matches to play, and Yorkshire three.
