Samuel moved without notice that the Select Committee to deal with the Legislative Council Bill consist of the Bone. Bell. Barr, Caj-ncroes, Duthie, Ormon-d, Sinclair, Smith, Stevens, and the mover, the committee to have" power jto ca-U for pereone and papers. The I motkra was seconded by the Hon. H. D. I Bell. Mr. Samael said that what was I wanted was from members [an to what alteration, if any. should be made in the constitution. The motion ■was dhsoiHi-rd a!iort!y .and carried.
