The mruiry into the circumstances of the dc;.th of Charles Clausen was opened ■T>y Jlr. K. C. Cuttcn, AM., at 2.30 p.m. to-day. Captiin Fleming watched proceedings for ffif Marine Department, and Mr Hall for the relatives of tlie deTliotias Scott, master of the tug, stated that yesterday afternoon the vessel was engaged towing the hulk Alexander Cri ug to her moorings in Shoal Hay. ' and at once proceeded to get the pulling boat out.
