SOCIETY FREAKS.
DAirCXHG I/AMB AT A BALL. NEW YORK, August 2. The latest "freak" entertainment was given in Newport. The hostess, Mrs Stuyvesant-Fish, was dressed as Mother Goose, and the guests impersonated nursery characters. ilrn Robert Goelet appeared r.s Little 80-Pcep, with a specially trained lamb, which participated in tlio ballroom festivities. The entertainment cost £12,000.
