MB. MASSEY'S CABLE. DUTY OF TSE OOBtOnONS. "EACH IN ITS OWIf WAY." (Received 2 p.m.) VANCOUVER, July 23. Mr Massey (Premier of New Zealand) has cabled tn Mr Hazen (Minister for Marine), acknowledging Canada's congratulations on the arrival of the New Zealand. ilr Massey srys:—"l am confident that our elder sister Dominion, and all the other oversea Dominions vill, each in their own way, do their duty in strengthening the Imperial Navy, and will keep the British ensign flying over a strong and united Empire." Orders have been received from Eac;land for the New Zealand to call at Halifax. Nova Scotia, before returning home. Captain Halsey describes the welcome accorded at Vancouver as one of the greatest daring the entire tour.
