For the Auckland provincial'polo tourna- . ment yesterday, fine weather continued,, and 'all the games were well contested in-'ttie- . third round of the provincial cup. Ohaupo beat Te Awamutu B by -5—2 The game, was fairly fast. At, the end of the fourth spell the scores were two all. Ohaupo ! showed better combination and cleaner Sitting. . . The handicap cup- matches were commenced. The game bet-ween Cambridge and Waitomo was all in favour of Cambridge, the scores' being: Cambridge (handicap 9),. 22; Waitomo (16), 17. The best game of the tournament was the ITamilton-Te Awamutu match; the pace being exceedingly fast. At the end of the third spell Te Awamutu had' recorded four goals. After that play was more ..even:. Several minor accidents, occurred ln this game, but no play ' was ;so hurt as to make retirement from the field necessary. The game ended: Te Awa- . mntu A (scratch), . 10; Hamilton (3)„ 6. To-day's handicap cup matches were'Te Awamutu B v. Ohanpo and Te Awamutu At. Cambridge.
