CHAPMAN-ALEXANDER MISSION.
About 250 personal workers of the Chapman-Alexander Mission attended at the Pitt Street schoolroom last evening and were addressed by Mr. Ralph Norton, Jeader. of that department of work m the mission.. Mr. Norton some very practical counsel, and also referred to Dr. Chapman's methods of handling a meeting. The workers received their badges and aR necessary instructions. The first public gathering of the mission will bo held in the Town Hall at / .30 o'clock this evenin"-.. The principal speakers will be 'M_Bsrs.°G T B Davis and Ralph Norton., The Alexander choir will render several hymn's The choir has made remarkable' progress, 47'_J members being present at the final rehearsal! It is now'hoped to make the number up to GOO, and the officials are confident that this' can be clone. At all the meetings Alexander's ; enlarged", hymn book (the .current issue) will be used. . Br. Chapman aud. Mr. Alexander will arrive by the five o'clock express from Rotorua to-mprrow, and. will be received by the. members of the Auckland Ministers' Association.
