Wednesday. , David Mitchell, who was admitted to the hospital on April 4, suffering from , injuries received through falling from the top of McLeod Brothers' soap works, i died in the hospital to-night. SUDDEN" DEATH. DUNEDIN, Wednesday. .Mr. Henry Guthrie, a well-Jcnown shipping agent and coal merchant, died , very suddenly this afternoon. He was walking in Rattray Street, when he was caught by a severe gust of wind and was seen to lean up against an" iron shed. He then suddenly collapsed, and • a few minutes later expired. Deceased, who was born in 1837, had carried on ' business in Dunedin since .1864." He had > been receiving medical—attention for some time, and death was due to heart • failure.
