JEWELS 'WORTH £50,000
STOLEN FROM THE LOOTERS,

LONDON, April 1
Hans Porter, an American tailor, and Ferdinand Steiner, a jeweller, have been arrested in a restaurant in Oxford Street and remanded on a charge of stealing £50,000 worth of jewellery belonging to Senor de Mier, ex-Afexican Minister to Trance, at Neuilly in April, 1912.
A detective alleged that Porter stole the jewellery from the original thieves. A large quantity of jewellery was found in Porter's house.
