BIG ADVANCE IN EXPORTS,

CUSTOMS DUTIES INCREASE.

The hfdk of trade at the port of Auckland dicing the month ended yesterday; was bijger than that of Majch, 1912, both matter of exports and imports. Satisfactory to state, the ratio of increase is most marked in respect of agricjltural and pastoral exports. Butter s/iipments show an enlargement to £i 03,335, as compared with £85,055 for the .corresponding month of last' year, and with £43,125 for March, 1911.
