'Dip usual monthly meeting of the Waini Hospital and Charitable Aid Board was held on Friday eveninp. Dr. Hyde presented the following statistics for the mouth: —Patients admitted 22, discharged .TO. dieil 1. operations 11, at present in the hospital -7. The resignation of Ntirse Mitchell v.ts received with regret. The health inspector o>r. Erwin) reported one case of infectious disease for the month, and the secretary reported the receipt of £(>."> 11/ on account of patients' fees. Correspondence was received relative to funds collected some years aso for the purpose of providing a hospital for Ohinemuri. which funds were still lying idle in the bank to the credit of certain trustees. A discussion eusued as to the desirability of the Board taking some n-ction iv the matter. Eventually Uie secretary was instructed to aud arrange for a friendly conference with
iv view of some amicable arrangement being made in regard to the disposal of the fuu&s, Messrs. Newth. Poww and the Rev. White being appointed as delegates to represent Uie Board at such conference.
