RUGBY. NORTH SHORE DISTRICT CLUB. ! The annuai meeting of the above club was ! held in the training shed on Friday evening. The president (Mr rfolwvn .Mays) presided over n large and enthusiastic attendance of members, The report and balancesheer were read and adopted. Mr M-ivs congratulated the dub on its strong financi.il position, aud said that the prospects for the cumins season were excellent. -The election of officers resulted as j<, 1- ' lows:—President. Mr s. Mars (re-elected) dub captain. Mr A. V. Eusor (re-rtecledr secretary and treasurer, Mr E. 1, Eyre (reelected); assistant secretary. Mr L> Connelly; committee. Messrs T. H. Tanner and A. Martin; hon. auditor, Mr ,J. Wehster (reelected); hon. doctor. Dr. Bennett ! During the evening a sold medal donated by Mr K. H. Law. was presented to the rfnhs best player, A. Alford. Mr J Conning was also the rpripient of a clock for services rendered to the club during his term of office a« assistant secretary After n large number of new members were enrolled, a vote of thanks in tbe chair concluded one of the most successful meetings ever held under the club's jurisdiction
