LARRIKIN CADETS.

DISGRACEFUL AFFAIR AT WHANGAREI. (By Telegraph. —Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. A disgraceful exhibition was made at a parade of senior cadets last night. The cadets the previous week had been supplied with uniforms, except stockings. The bo.ye paraded last night wearing variegated cocks and suspenders. When the parade started they marched round the hall, ringing: "Here We Go Round .the Muiberry Bush!" and "What's the Matter with Pa-ther?' , whittling '"The Grenadiers," and passing remarks suah as: "Ifold your head up, or I'll sell you!" Some of them imitated the sergeant-major, and when given the command to halt, called out: '-\Vhoa.!" It was a disgraceful turn-ou.t generally. The police were eventually called in, but were urtatble to make ac arrest, as that power rests with the defence authorities. After the parade had been dismissed squads paraded the streets led by a boy playing a mouth organ, and singing parodies on popular songs.
