DISSENSION AT ADRIANOPLE

LONDON, January 31
The Paris "Matin's" Sofia correspondent says that a man who escaped from Adrianople reports that tlie provisions have been exhausted. Civilians and soldiers demanded that the town should surrender. A scene of great excitement followed, and several officers were killed.
The "Daily Chronicle's"' correspondent states that the besiegers at Adrianople now number 100.000. with many heavy siege guns, strong enough to lay Adrianople in ruins in two days.
The Turkish Embassy has been authorised to categorically deny the malicious rumours of the dissensions at Chataldja.
A meeting of Moslems at Lahore, India, beseeched Britain to remain neutral, and exhorted Turkey to uphold the glory of Islam or perish. ,
