SLAUGHTERERS' STRIKE.
A PROBABLE SETTIEMENT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. In connection with the trouble in "the slaughterers' trade, negotiations are now proceeding between the Slaughtermen's Union and the Wellington Farmers' Meat Company at Waingawa, and it is understood an agreement will be .completed this afternoon.
