Dr. McEvedy (Wellington) and Mr. K. B. Williams (GislboTßie) arrived to-dajfc and axe guests at the Grand Hotel.

Mr. E. T. Taylor, of Wellington, is proceeding ito Auckland to join the Ttojua, which leaves on Tuesday for 'the Jeixnd's. Mr. Tfcyler wall visit Sydney ana Melbourne before returning to Wellington.

The Hon. J. A. Millar arrived in Auckland by the Main Trunk express to^dlay, and leaves in a few days for Koto Tula, where he •will continue the curative treatment. He has much, improved in i health.

Rev. Dr. Goriieir, principal of Queen's University, Kingston, Canada, who has been on a. visit to Queensland, arrived at Auckland by the in ail steamer Mstiuu. this morning, and leaves to-mgfet (for Vancouver fay the same etesuner.
