He supplied I Constable r.onrley with the particulars j of the case, and from the description .-nt> j I Hied ii wa.- t.liniirht tirat the arrested . man «■ implicated. I son's Hotel. On being charged with the j j assault he strenuously denied any know- I I ledge of the affair. He was taken in the j waterfront police- station and searched, a watch and chain being found in bis posI session. This Olson claimed as the one jhe had been wearinc previous to the assault. Taylor had only 1/ in his pocket. Tic was charged at the Police Court- this morning, and on the application of the police, was remanded for a week.
