Edson, and R. tL Duder, sitting as the Waitematt, Licensing Couumttee, was the granting of the.transfer of the license of toe Warkworth Hotel from W. H. G*w to Alfred Holliday. (By Telefrai*.*-lhm Correspondent.) THAMES, this day. At the quarterly meeting of the Licensing Committee Captain Swindle; was to the chair in the absence Of a magistrate. The polioe report on the licensed houses of the district was favourable. In one case it was mentioned that a licensee was to be prosecuted for a breach of the Act, while in another, where complaint was made, it was. stated that no offence against the Act bad been disclosed. The transfer of the Star and Garter, Ooromandel, from George juoram to William White, and for the (Solconda from William. White to George Lorain, was approved of. The license of the Cornwall Anns Hotel.was issued fn the name -of B. Gordon.
