Moffat and Son in Hazeldean-road, were damaged ty fire last night, the top storey, where grain and flour are stored, being gutted. The mill is insured in the London and Lancashire for £SOO, and the contents for £ISOO in the same office. HARBOUR BOARD SUPERANNUATION. CHRISTCHURCH, this day. The Lyttelton Harbour Board to-day decided that it was desirable to establish a superannuation fund for employees. It proposed to obtain an actuarial report on the subject, and raise the question at the annual conference of the Harbour Boards, with a view to ascertaining the possibility of united action. CHRISTCHURCH, this day. There will 'be 121 men staTters in the Christchirrch-Thnani road race to-mor-row. Tne limit man starts at 8 a-m., and the race should finish at Timaru before 3 p.m.
