HUNTING.
WATKATO HTJNT CLCB. The following horses were omitted from the list of acceptances for the Bardowie Handicap at the Walkato Hunt Clubs Meeting on Saturday: Monocle 0.9, East Lynne •.3, and Lion d'Or 9.3. WAIKATO HOUNDS. The final meet of the season of the above hounds was held oa Saturday, and it proved one of the best of the season. The hounds worked magnificently, and an excellent day's sport was tbe result. The meet was at the kennels, and the throw off was on ' Mr. James Taylor's land. A gallant bare was soon a-foot and kept the hounds busy at work for nearly a couple of hours; a kill eventually being registered. Another hare also gave a good chase, but reached cover. There was a very large field out, and with those who witnessed the sport from buggies and other conveyances, theie must have been fully three hundred. Afternoon tea was kindly provided by the Master Mr. Wynne Brown, and Mrs. Brows.
