A yung man named James Clifford, tgert 22 years, the son of Patrick Clifford, Df Winchmore, was dragged iindsr the wheel of a heavily-laden farm dray this morning on the Ashburton traffic bridge as a result of the horses bolting. The wheel passed over his body, and the man died en the way to the hospital.
