AUCKLAND GOLF CLUB. JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP. The qualifying round for the 16 competitors eligible to contest the junior cnampionship was played on the Middlemore Park links on Saturday:—W. Fairclough, 99; T. Ball, 101; P. N. Kingswell, 102 ; J. Frater, 102; C. Mahoney, 103; J. W. Hall, 103; C. Nathan, 103; B. Dawson, 104 : John Fiater, 104: F. Binney, 104; C. Brown, 105; H. Richmond, 105; S. Hanna, 105; J. B. MacFarlane, 105; H. Allen, 105; A. Ferguson, 106; G. Pierce, 106. Ferguson and Pierce play off for the 16th place. The first round will be played next Saturday, the 9th Inst. The draw is as follows:—MacFarlane plays Binney, Allen plays Brown. Hall plays Dawson, Kingswell plays Richmond, Fairckragh plays Mahoney, J. Frater playa the winner of the Plerce-Ferguson tie. LADIES' CHAMPIONSHIP. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) NAPIER, Saturday. In the final of the ladies' golf championship Mrs Guy Williams (Masterton) beat Miss Pearse (Wellington) 3 up and 2 to Play.
