VEDANTA LECTURE.

Sister Avabamla. now on her farewell visit to this city on her way to India, lectured last night at the Federal Hall on “Vedanta and Its Teachings.” The lecturer spoke at some length upon its origin and Us relation to other teachings. The word Vedanta (Veda and Antal means the goal of highest wisdom. It was the basic principle of all religions and philosophies. On Wednesday afternoon Sister Avabamla will lecture to women only upon “iiow 'Woman Shall Become the Light of the Coming Generation.’’
