THE DUEZ FRAUDS.
A CONFESSION REPUDIATED. PARIS, June 13. The trial of M. Duez, the ex-solicitor' 4 clerk charged with defalcations in connection with French religious institutions, has commenced. The jury will have to answer 4300 questions. Under examination Duez repudiated the confession he made when he was arrested. He admitted frauds to the extent of £55,400.
