Tfc is freely reported in Court circles that the Kaiser's visit to England was made not only for the purpose of attending the unveiling of the Queen Victoria Memorial, but also to enable him to discuss the possibility of an engagement between his daughter, Princess Victoria Louise, and the Prince of Wales.
