GIRLS' REALM GUILD.

HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL BAZAAK. The baza-ar opened this afternoon, in St. Sepulchre's Hail, iv aid of the funds of the Girls' Realm diiild. proaiisOi to be a highly profitable iunctio:i, and all the success achieved will bo richly deserved, as every effort has been put forth to mase the function go weii. The opening ceremony this alternoon was performed by Mrs. Cook, mother of the president (Miss Elaine Cook) of thi; guild, and there was a very large attendance ot the public. During the alternoon the different stalls were well patronised, and orchestral items rendered by the Royal Albert Ladies' Orchestra were grealJy appreciated.

The hall has been made very attractive with the brightly coloured stalls ranged round the walls,. .Each stall has a distinctive colour scheme of decoration. The produce ar.d llower stall is well slocked with goods, and the colouring is green and White. Those in charge are Misses E. Earl, H. Craig, M. Towie, K. Bnrstow, and Q. Butler. ' The plain-work stall, next is decorated chicily in blue, a high arch forming the front. Tile good's displayed show that a great deal of time has 'been devoted in their making, and purchasers are assured of getting value, and more, for their money. Those in charge are Misses K. Farley, 11. Lindsay, E. Brown and l'\ Connelly. The gentlemen's stall is decorated with scarlet poppies, and contains even-thing a gentleman could want. Misses D. Nicol, Mavis ! Cook, J. Barnard, H. Bloomfield and U. Reid dispense the goods. The lolly stall, occupying the centre of the hall, is beautifully got up. The stall is open at the four sides, and round the top great bunches of wisteria, hang down over coverings of mauve and violet ribhons. The top of 'the stall is covered by a silken white spider-web, in which a number of spiders are entangled. The confectionery is made up in dainty mauve and white l-mskets, displayed to the best advantage. The young ladies in charge axe Mie&c-s M. BucWeton, P. ila«Farlan e , .1- Prater, a.nd (!. Keale. A fancy work stall, containing 'beautiful specimens of work, is decorated in heliotrope, with wisteria bunches. The stall is attended to !>y Misses E. Cook, X Wallace, McCormaek, Oliphant and M. Leys. A Japanese stall is decorated with bunches of pink and white 'blossoms, with Japanese lanterns hung round the sides. The {roods, which are in keeping with the stall, are under the cha-rge of Misses 'D. Baker, D. Knight, E. Cottera.ll, D. Cheesemaii and E. Thomas. A doll stall is replete with all sorts and sizes of nicely dressed dolls, and the pink dec-orated '.-tall makes a pretty picture. Misses U. Buddie, D. Nathan, E. Buchanan and V. Ziman are in ehiu-ge. A parcel and cloak room, in charge of Mioses Snelling, Ka.V'll, and Zohrab, is a welcome addition to "the bazaar. The refreshment I room is nicely decorated with flowers, nnd the numerous tables, each covered with a snowy cloth and flowers, form attractive spots. Miss Dudor, assisted by about a dozen young ladies, distributed all manner of refreshments. A notable attraction to the bazaar are tho number of side shows, capably managed by Miss M. Walsh. These include a magic eavp ami magic cauldron, in charge of Miss D. Walsh, a white witch fortune-teller, magician, bran piers, managed by Miss S. Johnston, tniU'blrns dolls, post office with Miss ftrn-allfield as postmistress, a »1 the competitions to be instituted are Noah's Ark, nail driving, apple j-abbing, shooting gallery, etc.

This evening llr. Marriage's orchestra will be in attendance at the bazaar, and will add to the pleasure of those present. In addition to this evening the bazaar will be open to-morrow.
