ATHLETIC "DXION. SECESSION OF NORTH CANTERBURY. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH. this day. A paragraph! supplied to the Christehurch "Star" states that the NorUi Canterbury centre of the Athleti-s Union at its last meeting carried a resolution to the effect •That the union's management of athletics is unsatisfactory and detrimental to sport; that its action in attempting to interfere with the government of cycling is vicious and unwarranted; and that the centre Bhould secede from thermion."
