AUSTRALIA'S INTENTIONS.
MELBOURNE, August 29.
In reference to the cable regarding Australian Tailwayg, Mr. Batchelor (Minister of Internal Affairs) states that the Government is thoroughly in earnest over both transcontinental railways, and the fact would be made apparent during the current session.
