LONDON, August 29.

Reuters Copenhagen correspondent states that the decision in favour of the principle of an international strike of seamen is intended to be operative only in. the event of the failure of negotiations with shipowners. '

The "Times" says that inquiries show that seamen in London are indisposed to take the threat of an international strike very seriously, although there is now widespread discontent at the conditions under which they work.
