BOMB IN A TOWN HAIL.
Fried-berg has been thrown into a state of great excitement by a sensational outrage, of which it was the scene on July 25, says a "Telegraph" correspondent. A violent explosion took place in the Town Hall, the staircase being destroyed, and several doors and walls blown away, though nobody was hurt. At the same time a man rushed into the branch of the Imperial Bank close by, and fired a revolver at the manager, who happened to be alone, severely wounding him. On a number of people, alarmed by the two reports, hurrying up, the miscreant made off on a hicycle. A schoolboy and two peasants who tried to stop him were shot and wounded by him. The man cycled on until he had nearly reached Bad Nauhehn, and then shot himself dead. A sum of £235 was found on him, A man who had taken a room at a local hotel a week ago has been missing since. On his trunk being searched, bombs were found in It, and it .is believed that this man is identical with the author of the outrage.
