The stoneshows plenty of gold; BOSS GOLDFTEDDS. The manager reports by wire:—'''3o men are getting wash dirt. Progress good." MT. ZEEHA-T. The following wire -was posted this morning:—"2olbs. of picked stone from the winze." ' OLD HAUBA'-KT. The manager telegraphed this morn-. ing:—"2olbs. of picked stone from the stopes seaward of the main rise at the 400 feet level.". j ROSS GOIDIiTELDS, LIMITED. (By Telegraph.—Pres" Association.) -Hs-tJSTC'HZrsRCH, To-day Dr. Neeley, chairman of direc- j tors of the Ross Goldflelds Company, received the following telegram from the superintending engineer:—"Progress good; twenty-five men on; getting wash dirt; cleanings from the floor of the drives returned 7ozs. i MINE MANAGERS' REPORTS. Pour in Hand.—Tbe manager reports that the rise from No. 5 level Is holed through into the winze sunk from No. 4 level, making the ventilation perfect. The rise requires to be timbered, and, when complete, operations will be commenced on the footwall reef. Progress at the battery has been slow on account of had weather. XCapowai.—The main pass sfrom No. 2 level has been repaired, and a start made again on development work. ImperlaL—The Empire reef averages about 2ft in thickness. The stone carries I favourable minerals. Tairua Broken Hills.—Two shifts of men 'sare driving south on the hanging wall , branch of the Night reef. Monowal.—The erection of the battery building is well in hand. The eight new cyanide tanks are completed and in their foundations. The dismantling of the Auckland battery is going on at Wbangamata, and carting to sthe landing has started. THE SHAREMARKET. BUSINESS DONE.
