XCapowai.—The main pass sfrom No. 2 level has been repaired, and a start made again on development work. ImperlaL—The Empire reef averages about 2ft in thickness. The stone carries I favourable minerals. Tairua Broken Hills.—Two shifts of men 'sare driving south on the hanging wall , branch of the Night reef. Monowal.—The erection of the battery building is well in hand. The eight new cyanide tanks are completed and in their foundations.
