April, very fair entries for * the various events ha.ye been received. 1 s> In order to suit the convenience of eoun-' ■. try members, entries will.-.be received ■- ' until 8 o'clock this evening at the Sports , Cluib. The following were the number of the . nominations on " Saturday , evening: J 75yds, 29; 300 yds, 26; 440 yds, 23; , , 1000 yds, 16; two miles, a 12; 120 yds" hurdles, 7; one-mile walk, 4; -high jump, , 5; two-mile bicycle, 9; orie-mUe ■, bicycle, " , 16; or a total of 147 lor all events; and : it is expected that this list will 'be aug- . mented to the extent of. another 25 by : (this evening.
