From a splendid start Flitaway assumed the lead, followed by Zemlla and Lupuiite. After going a furlong Land Rose started to more np, and at the home turn was with the leaders. Before the distance was reached Flita-way had the issue settled, winning comfortably by three-quarters of a length; with Zemlia five lengths away, third. Time, 1.3. When the field jumped away San Severe was a couple of lengths behind. Going past the five-furlong post Sea Queen, All Guns and Gapon were racing In line, two lengths dear of Silkweb. The latter closed up as they turned for home, and San Severo also improved his position, while Sea Queen was in trouble. Siltweb had taken charge before reaching the straight, and inside the distance San Severo went past and won comfortably by two lengths and a half, Silkwc-b beating Sea Queen by two lengths for second place. Obsono and Bed Morn -were smartest to begin, and ran round the far turn a couple of lengths clear of Cuirosettia and Woijn. Ousono was first into the straight, and Bed M«rn droppod back. Waiju had the lender 'beaten at the distiTOce, and then Zetland came with a Rood run, and won by'a short length from Waiju, Obsono being a length and a-thul£ away, third. Time, 1.30 4-5.
