THREE PERSONS MISSING. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) ELTHAM, this day. ! -Much anxiety has been caused by a . party comprising a man and two women i being lost on Mt. Egmont for the last c two days and nights. Accompanied by a boy, they were ascending the mountain, j brt got into difficulties. The 'boy went ■ -■, ~.».-jo .]3a,vYsan'.s .Balls,, mountain house, and / informed the caretaker of tho party's j plight. * The caretaker (Graham), on seeing the party, informed them that they could not be extricated without ropes, and advised them not to move till he secured i necessary assistance. < On- returning, the caretaker found that a the party had disappeared, and they hn\e ] not since been seen. Search parties are -out. . It was rain- j -. ing heavily last night and to-day. 1 — ' — i MISSING PARTY SAFE. ELTHAM, this day. The party missing on Mount Egroont was discovered this forenoon. The ladies " were in an exhausted state, but no serious developments are expected. Their I names are: Mr. Gordon, photographer, of ' Kaponga; Miss O'Brien, daughter of'ex- \ Constable O'Brien, late of Patea; and , Miss Lnny. The boy's name ie not • known.
