BRITAIN'S COMING TARIFF. GERMANY'S WEAPONS. (Received 8.45 a.m.) BERLIN, February 24. Herr Delbruck (German Minister for the Interior), speaking in the Diet, said that now Britain was on the verge of protection, Germany must examine whether the weapons which her tariff had given ' her were properly wielded, and whether they were sufficient to secure the results desired by the nation's industries. Commenting on the commercial relations with Canada, he added that German goods were still differentiated as compared with those of Britain, some of the British colonies, and France, but this preference amounted for the majority of articles to only 2J per cent.
