LAWN TENNIS.
An interesting match was played on Saturday afternoon between the Kingslond Trinity Tennis Club and St, David's Club at the Mount Albert Public School Court which resulted In a win for Kingsland, with 36 games against 20. Great excitement was shown In the gentlemen's singles, the players being practically even all the way through. The respective scores are as follows :— Gentlemen's Double. — Messrs EHisdon and Allen v. Messrs Gordon and Doughty, Ladies' Single.—Miss M. Wheeler v. Miss Mackenzie, G—3. Gentlemen's Single.—Mr Dodge v Mr Turk, 12—10. Ladies' Double.—Misses Burns and Langford v. Misses Gordon and Higglns 6—3. . Combined Douhle.—Mr Kayes and Miss Wheeler y.
