INTBR-CLUB MATCHES. EDEN AND EPSOM! CL.TJB THE PIiEMIEBS. The final series of matches in connection with the championship of '-he first grade were played on Saturday afternoon. West End defeated Eden and Epsom by 10 sets to eight, but Eden and Epsom's lead prior to Saturday's play enabled them to win the premiership by a small margin. West End has held the championship for the past two seasons, and is now level with Parneli for second place. The other match in the senior grade was between Devonport and Auckland, the formers having a very easy win by 15 sets to three. In the second grade Remuera beat Ctae-i hunga by 13 sets to live. The following are the details of the matches played:— WEST END V. EDEN A-ND EPSOM. Men's A: Dr. K. Smith and E. Hickson (W.E.) beat J. I*.
