MAN DIES FROM BURNS. ; (By Telegraph.—Preas Association-) QAMARU, Sunday/ A -wooden houee was partly destroyed by fire on Saturday "while undergoing repairs. The proprietor, Mr. W. & Baudinet, had put a. pot of tar on the fire, and gone outside. He shortly aft^- ,- wards noticed that the room flames, and made an effort to extinguish the blaze. In doing so, he was badly •burnt about the 'hands and face. Hβ ■was conveyed to hie home, but died fro? shock shortly afterwards. DeceMe* was 73 years of age. He has eons* •Wellington and Auckland,
