The quarterly bal-' ance-sheet showed that aU accounts had been met, including a debit balance! of £4 5/ from September quarter. A lengthy discussion ensued regarding the building of a much-needed Sunday-school. The settle-' ment of the Question was left to a further,' meeting. '■ Ngaraawahla business people have showir '■ a much more progressive spirit than the/; Hnntly merchants by having a telephons Bureau established in the township. The ■ Railway Department have: at last • commenced to fence In the railway between Hivirtly and Rangiriri, and it is understood they intend putting down fourteen cattlestops, which should greatly minimise the danger incurred by cattle and horses being - allowed to stray on the line.
