UNIONIST CAPTURES.

The Unionist gain in captured seats now totals 77, four of which come from Labour, while the Liberal gain is eleven, one of which comes from Labour. The Labour party in return for its five lost seats has ousted two Liberals and one Unionist. The additional Unionist gains are: Leek, Heath, Leominster, South Tyrone, Brentford, Huntington, Henley, Mid Norfolk, Somerset East, Eddisbury, Wiltshire, Dorset North, and Abingdon. The total number elected is now 395, leaving 275 seats still to be filled. The two most notable defeats recorded are those of* Mr. J. A. Pease, Chief Liberal Whip, and the Rt. Hon. T. W. Russell, Vice-President of the Irish Department of Agriculture.
