FURNITURE TRADES' FEDERATION.

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Delegates representing workers of the furniture trades of New Zealand n:et in conference to-day. Mr G. Sullivan (Christehurch) was elected chairman. It was decided to form a federation of furniture trades, the name of the federation to be "The New Zealand Furniture Trades' Industrial Association of Workers." The objects of the federation are to effect u*sity in tha different furniture trades and to further the interests of the worker* engage* in the trade.
