Andromeda) hae been fixed to leave New York In. November for Wellington and Auckland In the order named. She will bring 80.000 cases of assorted oils, to be divided between the two ports. The Andromeda is a. vessel of 1028 tons gross nnd 1782 tons not. The owners are tlie Andromeda, Shipping Company, Limited (Black, Moore nnd Co., Londonh She was built by K. Duncan and Co., Port Glasgow, in 1890. A NEW COAL PORT. To the Patea Shipping Company's steamer Arapawa belongs the distinction of being the first vessel to berth at the Seaford Coal Company's new wharf at Pakawau, Golden Bay. The 'wharf has recently been completed, but some distance of railway has yet to be laid .before the wharf will be in working order. There is a depth of 19ft high water springs at the outer end of the wharf. The Arapawa called there to remove Mr Donald McLean's (the contractor) gear to Wanganul.
