PROPOSED PUBLIC RECEPTION. (By Telegraph.—Prtess Association.) HOKITIKA, this day. Westland County Council has resolved "That, with a view to according the Right Hon. Sir Joseph Ward an official welcome on his return to the Dominion from the Imperial Defence Conference, the Mayors and county chairman of the West Coast be invited to visit Wellington on the occasion of the Prime Minister's return, end join in the public reception to be accorded to the right hon, gentleman."
