A robin at Ripley, near Guildford (England), built its nest and hatched four eggs in a dinner basket which a man in the employ of a local farmer hung on a stable wall. Every day the owner of the basket used it to keep his lunch in, and frequently took it down to show to curious friends. The bird, however, accrued in no way disturbed.
