Fine mutton brought 33/3, medium 31/; fine beef 32/6, medium 30/6. Silver, 23 7-16 a. Wool: A good selection was offered to more animated sale. Americans are operating freely. Good merinos, erossbreds, and other sorts firmly maintained. Wheat: The American visible supply of wheat is 14,699,000 bushels. FROZEN MEAT. Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, Auckland, have received the following cable from their London office, under date 14th Inst.: —"Frozen Meat.—The market has declined further. Mutton: Prices have declined one-eight penny per lb. since oar last wire. Lamb: Prices are one farthing lower. Prices are declining for frozen meat without improving the demand materially." NAPIER, this day. The C.C. and D. Company cabled th* following report:—"Frozen meat market: Beef easier. Hindquarters declined Jd, forequarters id. Quotations are as follows:—Mutton: Canterbury 3Jd Napier. Wellington, and North Island 2Jd Lamb: First quality 3id, second 3sd Beef- Hindquarters 4id, forequarters 2id.
