tßy Telegraph.—Press Association.) OAMARU, Monday. A number of mysterious fires have recently occurred in Oamaru, and two more of the, same character happened this evening. The fire brigade was called to a fire about two miles out of town, which totally destroyed the Caledonian Society's pavilion, and when there the bell sounded for a fire which burnt the Phoenix Bowling Club's pavilion to the ground. The contents as well as the buildings were destroyed. The loss to the Bowling Club is about £290. There were Email insurances.
