Special gatherings vene-held at M Tabernacle Sunday-school yesterday to close the jubilee year. Last year 4 modern Sunday-school building was pro;mised, and this is now complete, and the opening ceremony and social tea /mil b» held to-morrow evening. Three larsily attended services were held yesterday; the pastor, the Rev. A. Knowles Xemjl ton, preaching in the morning and evening, also address-ing the children at the morning serviae, on "Knowing the Time .l, In the afternoon, the Rev. J. Mi Simpion, 8.A., gave an address on "God's Sow and Care for the Children." Birring the service special hymns were sung,,.the singing by the scholars being up tp'ilij usual standard of excellence, jrefleeting much credit upon the .&. J. Hall. Messrs. A. V. Carbines and J, H. Wells acted as accp-mpanists. ..Th» : building was tastefully decorated for; the occasion, and the offerings towards the school revenue totalled £63 6/....The; services, including the singing o! anniversary hymns, will be conclude} next Sunday. ■■ ' • '• ■
